Chapter Chaplain Father J. Scott Adams
The Boca Raton Chapter of Legatus was chartered on June 12, 2003, at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel in Boca Raton. The chapter was honored by Most Reverend Seán P. O’Malley, Bishop of Palm Beach celebrating Holy Mass. Bishop O’Malley then officiated at the chartering ceremony for 40 members and guests.
Charter officers were: Paul Lawless, president; Henry Schade, treasurer; Jerry Cianfrini, membership chair; and David Spellman, program chair. Fathers Brian Lenhert and Marty Devereaux were assigned as chapter co-chaplains. Following the Mass and chartering ceremony, the new Legates and their guests attended a celebratory reception and dinner at the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in Boca Raton.
