In Legatus, we humbly follow Christ in everything we do—and we work hard to support our members in their relationship with God, their service to the Church, and their professional endeavors.
Everything we do in Legatus is rooted in the Catholic faith. Whether it is a monthly chapter meeting or a national event, our time together is centered on celebrating the Mass, going to confession, and uniting together in prayer. Legatus provides many opportunities to learn more about the faith and explore the treasure trove of wisdom to be found in the Church.
Legatus is committed to the ongoing formation of Catholic business leaders, equipping them to grow in faith, virtue, and leadership. Through inspiring speakers, enriching retreats, and thought-provoking discussions, our members deepen their understanding of Church teachings and apply them to their professional and personal lives. We cultivate a culture of lifelong growth, empowering members to lead with wisdom, integrity, and a Christ-centered vision in all aspects of life.
When you become part of Legatus, you aren’t merely adding your name to a member list or joining a social club. Legatus members actively come together to encourage one another in their professional and spiritual lives. We help our fellow Catholic business leaders by being witnesses of faith together in our workplaces, sharing best practices, enjoying quality time at gatherings and events, and developing lifelong friendships rooted in Christ.

There are several criteria that prospective members must fit when applying for membership. You can review those requirements here.
Legatus does not endorse or financially promote any particular project. Membership dues are allocated to sustain the organization at both the national and chapter levels—part of the dues support Legatus’ national operations, while the remainder funds local chapters to ensure the ongoing success of monthly chapter events.
There are nearly a hundred Legatus chapters across the country. You can search for the closest chapter near you and find out what a typical chapter meeting looks like on our "Find a Chapter" page.
If you are married, your husband or wife is not excluded from Legatus. Spouses of members are granted shared membership, enjoying all the benefits and privileges of full membership. Legatus offers additional opportunities to invest in your married and family life and share enjoyable, enriching experiences as a couple.
